Well i am not in the mood to talk of the history of building a house. But let me tell you a little about my sil.
You see my dh's half brother dated this girl, who pretended she was country and tough. Well my bil pretended he was country too. You know what I mean.... wearing tight starched jeans and spiffy cowboy boots. Oh and going dancing and drinking. Well they ended up getting married, but her parents thought she was perfect and i was told to hush about them living together. Whatever. Anyway, she has always been a snob ( and that is put nicely) better than most and always is whining about something hurting) but you know God doesn't make you to like everyone. You aint supposed to hate anyone.. but you can not like some or not like thier behavior.
After years of my really really not liking her I just handed it over to God and I am at peace with it. She is my bil wife and he has to live with her , not me.
Everyone in the family thinks it is just me... that there is nothing wrong and she is just great. Well let me tell you what she did.
One day after church the girls and I went to wally world..... Anyway we were up in the produce aisle and we saw the sil. Well the girls said "look these aunt Trish" I turned to say hello , because this is the right thing to do and I am really trying to be nice. And she is GONE. gone i tell you. Nowhere do I see her. So we go on about getting food and I round the end of an aisle and there she is. all but laid on top of her buggy. Hiding from us or from me. I just looked at her and said Hey how you doing and kept walking. It was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud.
I had to tell some one... I called Wayne and Shana.. We all laughed and laughed
You see her true colors showed that day. I saw them and she knows I saw them. I also know that you get what is coming to you in the Lords time.
I know you might be thinking you dont really care about this and what a boring read. But I just wanted you to know, if you are in a situation that seems bad ( or family members seem bad) just hand it over to God and laugh. God Loves us all ... me and her, I know
But what a funny site to see her laid out on her buggy next to the taters lol
on a Side note; i finished sealing the stairs tonight. the girls rooms are clean. my bed is up and I am feeling pretty good about stuff now..
thanks for listening and have a great one
Who knows what you will read here.. I have been told to write a book but this is as close as it gets

Lesson learned
Remember the other nite I think it was Wednesday. Well it was not supposed to rain until Friday. So Wayne and I loaded the trailer down with furniture and boxes, I went to the coop and bought feed. Figuring it was not going to rain until Friday I left the stuff out on the trailer and truck.
As bedtime came around I tucked the girls in at 9pm. A few minutes later Dallas hollared to let me know it was raining..... What I say? You are kidding me. But no.... she kid not. So out of bed they all came and I was out in the back trying to figure out how we were going to get all the furniture and boxes on the back porch.
Dallas helped me with the dresser and bookshelves, while the other girls got the small stuff. We did manage to get it all on the back porch.
On my way back in I remembered the feed in the back of the truck. So needless to say back out to the barn we go.
o and then today. Mom came up with my cousins son PJ ( he is 4) and I had to take Dallas to her friends house at 12. Well Mom and Wayne started lunch and I made it home just in time to watch the top of the stove break..... ugh was the first thougt.
but then i remembered ... o i bought this at HH Gregg and I got the insurance plan or do they call it the warranty. anyway they will replace it. woo hoo
I will see if i can post some more pics of the girls on Christmas...
sorry i wasnt here yesterday the computer was not behaving
ok off to fix the pics

The check is in the mail......
Not really the check but the cards are. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to mail my Christmas cards or shop for that matter. Wayne took the girls shopping this morning and I wen out by myself.
Not know what to buy I spent way to much money and still didnt finish. Have you every had to shop for someone who has everything and wants nothing... Well I tried that today and I failed.
So now I get to try again. But I met the girls and Wayne and Mom for lunch at Chef Wangs. Good times , Good times....
Man the traffic... why is it that people think just cause the light is green when they start through it they can keep going? YOu know I sat through 4 or 5 lights cause of people blocking traffic. It wouldnt do for me to be a police man, Or would that be woman? anyway...... do you know how much money the city could make? man oh man
the tree is still not finished. No angel with the tree up her butt this year. I cant find her. I think she is hiding from me. Just you wait... when I do find her she is going on a tree outside with the goats. Maybe I should get a star. It wont hide from me.... or will it?
i think thats it , but i do fill like i am forgetting something
o well... talk at you soon

The Tree is up ( well almost)
Well the kids have put up the tree, well almost. I cant find the angel or the stockings. I am sure there is something else I cant find...
The tree already looks like walmart ornament aisle threw up on it. I put up 1/4 of mine and Waynes ornaments and got tired of it quick. I think Chloe has more to do and Bailee too
I sealed the steps again tonight. I will be so glad when this is done. It takes so long and then the girls have to stay up stairs. The kitties came home yesterday from Grandmas ( they had a nice long stay with her) so now they are locked in the bathroom.
I had forgotten how much I loved my cats. You know when they sleep with you .... Curl up with you... George follows us around. Minnie hides. She hasn't came downstairs yet. :) Last night she slept with Chloe under her blanket.... Chloe was so happy
O last night Grandma and Chris came over and while we were at church put up Bailee's bunk bed. So now we just lack putting ours together.
I need to be going. Work to do still... I have yet to Christmas shop for anyone but the girls. And now I have forgotten what I bought the girls. Since they are locked upstairs fort eh night because of the stairs being wet I am going ot lay everything out and see what I have...
I was mentally going over what I had and Wayne seems to think I need to buy more. What you ask, buy more? Yep you heard me right. So tomorrow if all goes well I will be out shopping on the Friday before Christmas buying everyones gifts. Without the kids . WOO HOO. Nothing like shopping with the kids....
see you soon

The Kids they are a cooking
We got home from Walmart last nite at 10... and seeing how we had to be at 4H this morning at 9 the girls knew they had to get their baking done.
I talked them into doing the breads last nite and I took them out of the stove at 12. Little did I know Dallas was going to get up at 4. Yes 4 in the morning... to make cookies, brownies, peanut brittle, and then something that look like cooked dog food
I have never seen such a hug mess in my life. They did manage to make rock candy... but they didnt mean to.... they learn when sugar is cooking on the actual stove surface it turns into rock candy.. Especially if you leave it for a couple of hours for mom to come and clean.
Maybe I should have just licked it off. It would have given me the engery to continue the day.
We made it to 4H (late as always, with everyone waiting on us) . The girls did well Bailee took best of show in her age group with 2 first place ribbons and Dallas got 1st and a 2nd place ribbon. Then they all played dirty Santa. Is this game supposed to be violent?
O I forgot to tell you last nite at 12ish Wayne came home with a trailer of furniture ( from his moms) and yes we had to unload it all. In the freezing dark. Just him and me. I am not sure but I think the items got heavier as we brought them in. At one point Wayne rested the chair. WEll he thought he was resting on the stair hand rail.... but o no.... it was resting on my face!
If I must say I do have a strong face. Never would have known that otherwise. Is that a good thing or bad thing?
Anyhoo, I picked up the mattress today from HH Gregg..... The girls and I managed to get teh twins into the game room. But hte queen was going to be left for Wayne and I to get when he got home
But my wonderful nephew came over to see the house and to bring in the big mattress and box springs then he even moved the twins to where they needed to be. AWWWWWWWWw
I owe him ...... I fill so loved.
We had a nice visit, it had been a long time. Must do it more often... only if i had somewhere for people to sit.
Tomorrow we are planning on putting up the tree.... about time huh?
I still need to go shopping for gifts... I think i am dreading that..
all righty off to clean the stove some more
talk at you soon

Chip and the carpet
I have no idea what to call this post. If you are on the homeschool group you most likely know by now that last night our dog Chip ate 1 1/2 pounds of rat poison. Why you ask? Because he eats stuff... and by stuff I mean everything he can get his mouth on. I think he is mad at us cause we wont let him in the new house. So he is punishing us by eating everything. He even ate the styrofoam water spout protector thingys off the house. UGH.... Well he is still alive 24 hours later, after making him throw up then going to the vets house at 10 last night to get a shot of vitamin K. He is the same ole same ole today. The vet was supposed to bring by some vit K pills
( 28 days worth at probably $1000.00 a pill) for him to take but he forgot them. Which I had to go back to his house to get another shot for the dog.
Here is a picture of Chip... isnt he too cute? Well , he has to be for us to put up with him.
Not sure if the pic worked I will have to check on it later
Now onto the carpet....
The carpet people were supposed to be here this morning around 8. As I had told them that I had somewhere to be at 2. Should leave plenty of time you think.... Well they showed up at 10:45. yet another UGH. I think they must go by a different timing schedule than we do. They didn't speak much English at all... UGH again.... Well they finally left at 8 pm yes PM.
So the girls missed their 2 oclock scout Christmas party.
Then we still had to go to Walmart. O I forgot to tell you, they have 4H int he morning and have to be there at 9 am.... and yes they have to make cookies and breads and brownies and biscuits all from scratch by then. So right now as of 10:30 pm they are in the kitchen making breads... and arguing. We cant have 5 minutes go by without the bickering....
So I have locked myself in my office who knows what their bread will look like.. If if turns out hard... well I can always use some door stops.
so enough complaining... I am tired of it....
Good thing..... The house is done and we can close on the loan. WOO HOO
off to check on the dog... and see you soon

A Bug's Life
Hello again,
Let me just jump in. Last night when Wayne got home from work he went to fix him a bowl of cereal. YUCK. So I followed him in there. Why I don't know, I just did. As we were leaving the kitchen I saw this big o nasty brown spider on the wall above the pantry.
No I did not start screaming, that was the old me. The new me quietly asked dear hubby to kill it. Well what did he say? No. Can you believe that? As he walked away with his cereal, I asked and why not. Well it seems to him that since there is dirt next to the outside of the house we will always have bugs and spiders and to just leave it be it won't hurt anyone.
I stated that it would hurt me.. and in turn him. How might you ask... well if it was left up there to live, I would go to bed and toss and turn , thinking it was climbing in my ear or my nose or worse yet , my mouth when I finally did fall asleep. Which also means dear hubby would not be getting any rest.
I pester him all the way to the other room, he finally puts his cereal down and I ask " are you going to kill it" Again, the answer is NO. What ? I am not beleiving this. He takes the spider and carefully puts him outside. Then goes on to complain that his cereal is mushy. Isn't cereal always mushy? Had he killed it when I first saw it would it not have been as mushy.
I think he might be a secret member of PETA. Who knows?
Well I saw that my good friend Linda G posted and wanted me to tell of the fun parts of buiding a house. That would take a huge amount of time. Just look how long it has taken to actually build it. ( 10 months , but we were homeless 2 years, ok not really homeless, we lived in our camper . But thats another story)
But I can say that yesterday I had to stain the oak stairwell and bannisters. The girls were off with their Aunt so I thought it would be a good time to do it. After about 4 hours of staining. I was so high from the fumes I couldnt type or talk.... he he he. Almost like being drunk.
I guess that part was funny. Well only if you talked to me on the phone.
I will close for now, I have bored you to death enough for today.
Hope everyone is staying warm.

A little about me and mine
Well.... what to say?
This is day one on this blog. This is so new to me and I really dont know much about blogs, but I am going to try.
I am Buffie, wife to Wayne, mom to Dallas, Bailee, and Chloe. All girls... Yep thats right all girls, and all born in Janruary. I have been married to Wayne for 15 years, dated for 3 years before that. So we have been together more than half my life.
I am a stay at home mom who home schools our 3 girls. We have a small farm and raise South African Boer Goats, Kiko Goats, and sometimes chickens. I also sell stuff on Ebay. I think my hobby is sewing. I say I think because our life has been different than most for the last 2 years. I will have to tell you more on that later. Oh, my friend Shana and I also run an online home school support group in our area.
We have 3 kitties, 4 dogs, 2 lizards and some fish. So the farm part of my blog is true. Wouldn't have it any other way. Even if I complain about it at times.
I know there is more to say.... but I won't bore you anymore today. I will save that for tomorrow.
Until then.......
